Site Experience

Many practices don’t offer adequate site experience, but we consider it essential to developing well-rounded, competent engineers and technicians. At Form, we provide supervised site visits to ensure maximum learning, giving our team firsthand experience in how designs are implemented. We view this hands-on exposure as equally important as office-based design work, helping our younger engineers and technicians gain the confidence and practical knowledge they need to advance in every aspect of their profession.

Our Ethos, Values and Vision

Our ethos is built on a passion for creating smart, cost-effective engineering solutions that enhance every project. From the outset, we’ve been committed to building a workplace where people want to thrive - where collaboration, respect, and creativity are at the core.

Directors are involved in every project, ensuring personalised attention and excellence in delivery, regardless of size or scope. Our commitment to quality is reflected in every design, developing long-term relationships with clients and collaborators.

Our core values centre on integrity, respect, and innovation. We are dedicated to nurturing our team’s growth through training, mentorship, and encouraging creativity. Collaboration and respect guide our interactions with clients, colleagues, and competitors, ensuring mutual success.

Looking to the future, our vision is to continue pushing the boundaries of sustainable, cutting-edge engineering, delivering solutions that benefit society and the environment, while providing a fulfilling place to grow.

Our Mentoring Programmes

We believe mentoring is essential for building a successful career, particularly in the early stages. Our mentoring programmes are designed to accelerate career progression by guiding team members along the right path. More than just technical skills, we focus on developing crucial soft skills like communication, political awareness, and problem-solving.

By providing guidance and support, we help individuals become well-rounded professionals, preparing them for chartership and beyond. With our broad range of experience, we ensure our team develops the confidence and expertise needed for long-term success.

Wellbeing and Socials

We prioritise and take a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our team by creating a positive, supportive work environment. We understand how important it is to balance work with personal responsibilities. A strong work-life balance is key to maintaining both happiness and productivity.

To support this, we offer flexible hybrid working solutions that accommodate the demands of busy lives. Alongside this, we organise regular social and sporting events, allowing our staff to build meaningful connections and unwind. Wellbeing and camaraderie remain a cornerstone of our team ethos.

Prioritising Investment in Design Software

We understand that engineering is evolving rapidly, and staying current is key to delivering the best results. That’s why we prioritise investing in the latest design software, ensuring our team has access to state of the art tools that enhance creativity and precision. At Form, we’re not stuck in old habits, we’re committed to continuous improvement and embracing new technologies to push boundaries in every project we undertake.
